I agree that the wobble is fcked up, but its overall pretty good for a first attempt. In my opinion, when the wobble is fading in, it comes in too hard.

Decent

Vocals are out of sync (mainly at start), as well as quite poorly mixed and overly autotuned. Overall, mastering is not exceptional. Sorry for being so harsh, but it can be improved A LOT.

I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with your review. Raver Girl is not 100% complete, nor do I claim to be professional or have access to a professional recording studio. I'm sorry, but if you think Newgrounds is a place to find perfection, perhaps you're on the wrong site. =/

Great song.

Just so people know, certain flash authors on external sites link the mp3 in the flash directly to the Newgrounds download link, making the swf file smaller, and putting less load on their servers. This causes Newgrounds to think that there is another download for every play of that flash. When it becomes popular, the download count increases rapidly.

You like constructive criticism:
Mastering needs to be improved quite a lot, the song is lacking a lot of punch. Also, the bass is not mixed in there very well, try maybe taking off a bit of high end? Drum FX isn't extremely great either (hihats could use some reverb, clap/snare sounds very dry).

Yes i totally agree with you about the bass, i dont like it either.
It actually has sidechaining lol, but that's almost unnoticeable.

The only reason this is a 9 is because of the brass.. Sounds very synthesized for something like this. Maybe it's my headphones. Sweet job on the rest though, especially that guitar, and the drums.

Sorohanro isn't going to like that. Lol.
Sorohanro recorded the brass for me, so the brass are real.
Only thing i found was that i rather saturated the sound so it sounds more 70's. Because imo, it sounds too real! How oppinions can clash.

Terrible mixing, although its a good idea for a song. Kick drum clips like crazy.

The song is also very repetitive, not much variation going on here.

What can I say, all your songs are so pro that they deserve better than Newgrounds. Thats pretty much all that there is to it.

Depending on personal choice, a few things could be changed, but I think it sounds pretty good right now.
